The Grand Lake Association hosted its 65th annual banquet at 6:30 pm Monday, December 17, at River Bend Casino and Hotel, 100 Jackpot Drive in Wyandotte. The evening featured a cocktail hour beginning at 6 pm, dinner, remarks from GLA President Ray Claggett, and a traditional Cherokee flute performance by Tommy Wildcat. The evening’s guest speaker was Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr.
