24th Annual 4-States Baby Contest Winners
Every year, we’re thrilled to showcase the most adorable little ones in our 4-States Baby Contest while also supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the contest entry fees will go to our local Children’s Miracle Network hospital, which provides vital care to sick and injured children in our community.

1st place: Luella Flanigan
This year’s first-place winner is Luella, a 10-month-old whose name is a nod to her maternal and paternal great-grandmothers. Lu—as she’s known to loved ones—is Maggie and Will Flanigan’s first child. Will is in the military and is currently deployed, which makes Lu’s July 4 birthday even more special. Her favorite toy is a Ms. Rachel sensory bus book, and her favorite activities are looking at books, being outside and trying new foods. Her favorite book is "Toot," and she must have it read to her every night!
2nd place: Layden Epperson
Layden will turn 1 in June, and he loves to play, roll and throw any type of ball, and he loves to swing and be outside, especially with his family. But even though playing with his 3-year-old brother, Jace, his parents Jarrett and Lacy, and his loyal shih tzu, Obi, is a lot of fun, Layden doesn’t hesitate to tell them when playtime is over. Lacy says he takes his food very seriously and will stop all play when it’s time to eat.
3rd place: Arthur Winkfield
Nine-month-old Arthur is the son of Brittany and Brian Winkfield. His furry siblings include four cats named Kingsley, Augustus, Mabel and Merlin, and one dog, Willow. Arthur’s favorite toys all have moving parts, like gears or zippers, and if toys don’t have those, he flips them over and tries to play with the screws holding them together. His mom says Arthur is such a happy baby, it genuinely feels like everything delights him. He smiles constantly, squeals with pure excitement and gets so happy his little limbs can’t keep up with him.
Facebook Fan Favorite: Wren Meador
Ten-month-old Wren is the daughter of Jonathan and Cheyann Meador, who is her parents’ miracle baby after conceiving through IVF. In addition to Wren, the family has two cats, Alby and Dobby, and a black Labradoodle, Draco. Wren enjoys people watching and going to the beach. She has already been to the beach twice in her short year on Earth. She also loves watching “Hannah Montana.”
