2018 Apple Butter Makin’ Days Schedule

The festival runs from Friday, October 12 through Sunday, October 14, starting each day before dawn with apple butter making on the courthouse lawn. Activities include a pancake breakfast, live music performances across various genres, fun contests (bubble gum blowing, apple pie eating, husband calling), a pet parade, pedal tractor pull for kids, and unique events like terrapin races and wiener dog races with freestyle frisbee dogs. The Lawrence County Historical Society Museum and Adamson Cabin are open for visitors with a quilt show in the chapel throughout the weekend. Booths open each day offering food and crafts, and the festival culminates with worship service and music on Sunday.
