Debra Anderson is a bit of a “Jackie of All Trades” at the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce.
As the support services assistant, she aids the day-to-day operations for the director of member services and development, the member sales strategist, the special events manager, the finance manager, and the marketing and public information manager.
Assisting in so many service areas at the Chamber means each day presents new opportunities and challenges.
“I love that I get to do a variety of different things,” she said. “Not having the same daily routine has opened up my ability to accomplish things that I have not typically done in the past.”
Anderson always has a full to-do list, but she said she’s able to accomplish her goals with the support and encouragement of her team.
“The team I work with is so great. Everyone works together, willing to help each other to accomplish whatever needs done.”
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to do genealogy research, not only for her own family but for her friends, too.
