Jacob Asbell, President of Asbell Companies, leads a team of 225 employees across seven divisions, focusing on motivating people to reach their full potential. Building on his father Jeff’s legacy of hard work and community support, Jacob is committed to giving back to Carl Junction, including involvement in the new Power of Play inclusive playground. He and his wife Krista also run The Asbell Foundation, supporting local charities.

As President, Jacob Asbell oversees the seven divisions and approximately 225 employees that make up Asbell Companies.
His leadership philosophy is about supporting the company’s greatest asset: its people.
“I think a great leader is someone who motivates people to be the best they can be,” he said. “Given an opportunity and the right kind of support, people can do a lot more than they think they can.”
Starting with just a backhoe and a dump truck, Jeff Asbell, Jacob’s father, worked hard to evolve the company and venture into new industries.
“The biggest thing my dad always taught me was to not be afraid of hard work,” Asbell said. “He also was a big supporter of Carl Junction, and it’s my goal to do the same for my hometown.”
Asbell Companies is currently involved in building the Power of Play playground, an all-inclusive playground that broke ground May 13.
Asbell and his wife, Krista, also started The Asbell Foundation, which raises funds for several area charities. They have two children, Austynn and Asher.
