Owned by Randy Roy since 1992, the drive-in has kept much of its original charm and favorites like foot-long chili cheese dogs, double cheeseburgers, and famous Bulldog Shakes. With a nostalgic atmosphere and strong community support, Randy’s is a local staple where you always know what delicious comfort food to expect.

JoMo Moving, a locally owned company run by Joshua and Courtney Maresh, won Business of the Year from both the Carl Junction and Joplin Area Chambers of Commerce this year. Since starting two years ago, they’ve built a reputation focused on heartfelt service and community support. Offering a wide range of moving services across Missouri, JoMo Moving also donates free moves and goods to local charities, reflecting their commitment to giving back.

From early struggles to becoming a regional track standout, running has shaped their healthy lifestyle and brought them closer together. Braeden and his dad Todd train side-by-side, sharing workouts and life lessons through the sport they love.

Andrew Brill, a single dad of five, juggles the challenges of parenting with sole custody while running his own business. Despite misconceptions about single dads, he embraces asking for help and prioritizes teaching values and self-care. His proudest moments come from seeing his children succeed and knowing he’s guiding them toward independence.
