Horses of Hope provides therapeutic riding and equine-assisted psychotherapy for people with disabilities but faced major challenges during COVID-19. They adapted by creating “telehorse” virtual lessons to keep clients connected with horses and therapy. Danette’s commitment to top-tier customer service, safety protocols, and an ever-evolving inventory—both in-store and online—has kept The Vogue thriving, even through COVID-19. With free gift wrapping and a warm, personalized shopping experience, The Vogue Boutique is a true local gem.

Nick Edwards, a Joplin native and Marine veteran, has returned as city manager to serve his hometown with a focus on growth, community resilience, and quality of life.
