Saving Grace NWA is a nonprofit in Northwest Arkansas that provides long-term, supportive housing and mentorship for young women ages 18-24 who have aged out of foster care or face homelessness. The program focuses on healing from trauma, building life skills, and fostering lifelong mentor relationships to break cycles of poverty and empower independence. Since 2010, Saving Grace has helped many young women transform their lives, with ongoing community support and plans to expand their capacity and impact.

Ozark Off Road Cyclists (OORC) has played a key role in developing and maintaining mountain biking trails across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley for over 25 years. Supported by passionate volunteers and significant community investment, OORC builds and cares for popular trails, hosts major events like the Buffalo Headwaters Challenge, and encourages riders of all ages to enjoy the outdoors. Their efforts have helped make the region a destination for mountain biking enthusiasts and fostered a strong, inclusive cycling community.

Chief Glenna J. Wallace, the first female chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe, has dedicated her career to preserving Native American history and culture. Her efforts were instrumental in securing World Heritage status for the Newark Earthwork Mounds in Ohio, highlighting the significance of these ancient sites and the achievements of their builders. Now in her 18th year as chief, Wallace continues to advocate for recognition and respect for Native American heritage and the ongoing presence of her people.
